Candy Apples

These are candy apples that came from Gina's Designs Fall shape set.
Of course they start as craft chipboard but with a little creativity you can make these cute chippies spectacular.

For these apples I used
Gina's Designs Fall Shape Set
Ruby Slippers Stickles
diamond glaze
Paint
seed beads

First use stickles to cover the apple , let dry
Next on wax paper mix brown acrylic paint with diamond Glaze
once its mixed well use a flat object to spread the mixture on the apple. I used a plastic knife.
spread it on so that it looks like a dipped apple.
finally while it's still wet sprinkle the seed beads onto op the wet mixture.
let dry.

The first one is a masculine all occasion card using Gina's Designs Gears chipboard set.
The second one is a Thank You card that I made using Gina's Designs Feathers and Gina's Designs lace doily's.

So sorry I've been away for awhile. First I got sick and then I moved expectantly. It has taken forever to get everything unpacked and situated but I think I'm ready to start crafting again. keep checking in. I have a lot of projects planned for the blog.

Gina's Designs Wreath Dt Project

Good Morning!Today I would like to share this super easy indoor spring wreath I made using Gina's Designs laser-cuts, a straw wreath , Garland, ribbon and paper flowers.

First wrap your ribbon around the wreath and secure to the back with hot glue.
Next wrap your Garland around the wreath and securing with hot glue. ( wrap and glue, wrap and glue) I snipped off additional pieces of garland to use as fillers.
The next step would be to add flowers. Finally I glittered butterflies from Gina's Designs Butterflies and Dragonflies. Let them dry and add them to the wreath. If you have any empty spaces use the snipped garland pieces to fill in.

Gina's Designs Fall Mini Album

Good Morning

Check out this cute Fall mini album that I made using Gina’s Fall Shape set and various other shape sets from Gina’s Designs.

For the cover:

The cover was made using two pieces of chipboard that I cover with painted canvas. I painted Gina’s Trees and the fall banner from Gina’s fall shape set with brown paint and added gold leaf foil to the pieces. Next I layered up the painted chipboard with a few fall colored flowers from my stash.

This page was made using Gina’s Hinges shape set and Gina’s fall shape set. Once again I painted the chipboard and added fall flowers to the corner. The glittered chipboard piece is from Gina’s Fall set. The hinges are being used to hold the pull out journaling tag.

 Here I used Gina's Designs Fall Shape set, Gina's Designs Banner Builder Dovetail Minis and fall flowers to make this page.

 This page features a rake used from Gina's Designs Shape set, Gina's Designs miniature clipboards and CTMH fall rub-ons, twine, ribbon and flowers from my stash.The rake was colored and blended with grey and white gel sticks. I added ribbon,twine and a small flower to the top part of the rake. The pumpkin is a rub on from CTMH. The lace border that the pumpkin is on was created using a Martha Stewart punch. The journaling card is a Gina's Designs miniature clipboards that I cover with paper. I hot glue the clip in the set to the back of the flower creating what you see in photo 3!
