Sorry I’ve been mia. Several people emailed me asking if I forgot about the tutorial on the Gina's Designs bracelet. I did not. I have been feeling so gross because of the weather and the way it keeps changing. I'm behind in everything! I did attempt to put the tutorial together last night only to discover that the photos I took are bad. So I will have to retake photo’s of each step. Which means I have to redo each step. Hopefully I can get that done today after physical therapy. That’s it. I just wanted to give an update since a lot of people have asked if I stilled planned to post it.

Are you on trend?

LOL! Today while I was in Micheals looking at flowers this random woman came up to me and asked me if I was on trend. All I could do was laugh and ask WHAT! What does that even mean? Since when does expressing yourself artistically have anything to do with trends. Why are people so preoccupied with what’s in and what’s out. When I make a card or a altered project I just do what feels good to me. I don’t care about the latest Washi tape, however if I have some and I think it looks good with what I’m doing then sure I‘ll use it. But not because it’s all the rage but because at that moment it appeals to me. Think about it. When you sit down to craft, do you do it for you or someone else. Granted if you are creating a special request  for someone that’s different.( maybe) but if you are crafting for self gratification then why does it matter what trends you use? I still love Prima and flowers while it appears as though the rest paper crafting world does not. You will find a flower or two on just about everything I do, because I like them.  So to answer her question are you on trend. NO, and I probable never will be because I do me and no none else.

Tax return Haul... Box 1

You know what the nice thing about working a part time job, having kids and not making any money is? Tax return time! I won’t even say how much I spent but here is my first box that came in the mail today. I think I have about 10 boxes total coming. I got all this stuff from Ellen Hutson. in the warehouse and overstock section.
