I just wanted to post my first Gina’s Designs DT project for the month of January. It is a perpetual calendar. I really enjoyed this project. I decided to use the back side of the holder to display the actual calendar. Gina was nice enough to precut some paper for me to complete the project since I am having shoulder surgery. My arm really really hurts, I’m not sure how I would have managed without her help. Thanks Gina!
I love your calendar. I never thought of using the back of the box as a display. I hope that your surgery goes very well. I'll say a prayer for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your prayers Marfa. I really like the way your calendar came out too. I never thought to use the other side! When I realized the other way it could have been done it was to late so I just finished it up. This month is hard because my arm is killing me. It hurts to do everything, even sleep and now I have a cold too so my surgery is postponed. Between the arm and the cold is why I haven't even attempted fiddling with the camera for Youtube vids. I even had to get my son to snap those picts, but I'll be ok, I'm a trooper. I just need to have the surgery so I can be done with it.
ReplyDeleteLovely job. The choice of color is nice and rustic. The back is a wonderful idea. I hope your surgery goes well and that you heal fast.
ReplyDeleteNice job Rashida, love the feet and the color, almost leathery. Hope you recover quickly :)
ReplyDeleteGreat calendar ! Hope your shoulder is better :)

Thanks everyone! I hope my shoulder gets better too! I kinda need my arm seeing as how I'm right handed and my injured shoulder is on the right. Hopefully I can get my tripod set up to do the vids. Or maybe I can just do the vid like a slide show. But thanks for all the love!
